Rhiannon joins Custom Performance after completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Mercy University with honors. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management. Rhiannon also has her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through NSCA.

Rhiannon has competed in track & field, soccer, and basketball while in high school and continued to play basketball in college. Since then, she remains active through running, weight-lifting, rock climbing and mountaineering.

Rhiannon has 10+ years working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Her experience ranges from collegiate, professional and Olympic athletes to the general population of all ages. She had the opportunity to work with Columbia’s Men’s Lightweight Rowing team as a Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as completing an internship with EXOS in Phoenix, Arizona where she worked with numerous elite athletes. These experiences in high level athletes allows Rhiannon to understand the demands needed for return to sport. She believes in a comprehensive and interactive approach to physical therapy by giving people the tools to help heal themselves and empower them through the rehab process.

A graduate of Stony Brook University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Laura has been a runner most of her life. While attending undergraduate at SUNY Geneseo, Laura competed in cross country and track & field, often at the national level. Currently, she loves immersing herself in the NYC running community and continues to enjoy meeting new friends & people along the way.

Laura provides a holistic approach to treatment for each of her patients while helping to achieve individually created goals. She is compassionate and truly focused on the well-being of her patients while helping them return to what they love to do. Laura’s favorite event is the 3000 and she is hoping to get back on the track at some point soon to try to touch some old PRs; however, Laura is also new to the marathon world and has now completed 2 different world majors: New York in 2022 and Chicago in 2023. Laura is looking forward to whatever the next running adventure may be and the people she will meet along the way!

Cristina graduated from Marymount Manhattan College, where she danced professionally and received her BFA. While no longer dancing professionally, she continues to teach ballet to children.

Cristina is fueled by her passion to help others grow and to find healthy perceptions of themselves while reaching their goals. Although this began with dancers, being a part of Custom Performance has opened this passion to all athletes.

Cat completed her undergraduate and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees at Ithaca College in an accelerated program, graduating with honors in 2013. While at Ithaca, Cat played field hockey. She grew up playing sports and could not imagine her life without them. Cat always enjoyed distance running and excelled at the conditioning aspects of training and practice, so it was a natural continuation to turn to distance running after college.

Cat believes in a comprehensive approach to PT. She gets into the details of current and past injuries, biomechanics, training, and lifestyle to get to the bottom of why an injury has occurred. Cat wants her clients to learn all of the tools they need to work towards their goals and avoid injury.

She has certifications in strength and conditioning as well as extensive education in manual therapy techniques.

Cat’s favorite distance to race is the half marathon, and she has surprised herself by liking the 5k more and more. She’s run the NYC marathon and plans to return to the marathon distance!

Kelsea knew she wanted to be a physical therapist at a young age. Her journey started at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. She then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Columbia University.

Mainly focusing on shorter distance running through high school, college, and physical therapy school, Kelsea has recently found a love for the marathon distance. She ran the New York City Marathon in 2023 and will be running the Marine Corps Marathon in 2024. Kelsea also currently plays competitive tennis, paddle, and golf.

As a NASM certified personal trainer and RRCA certified run coach, Kelsea has experience in coaching group fitness classes in NYC. However, working one-on-one with clients is her preferred style of coaching and training. Kelsea believes in creating an individualized treatment plan for all. She tailors her treatment to your specific injury-prevention, rehabilitation, or performance-based needs. She values running because no goal is too big if you are willing to work hard to achieve it.

A 2014 graduate of Rutgers University, Lisbeth has been a lifelong athlete who found her way to distance running following the end of organized team sports (aka college graduation).

Lisbeth believes in a well rounded approach that uses an effective combination of manual therapy and functional exercise to help runners meet their goals. She believes running should be fun and part of a well balanced active lifestyle and will meet her clients where they are in their running journey to make that possible.

Lisbeth is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, RRCA certified running coach and certified mat pilates instructor

Lisbeth is a 3 time marathoner but enjoys racing the half marathon distance the most. She plans on returning the marathon distance when she figures out how to juggle momming and running more miles in a week. For now she is learning to love the 5k!
